The highly anticipated release by Canadian recording artist “Little Kim Retallick” called “Work Week Blues” features acclaimed session players from Canada, USA, Poland and Spain including saxophonist Mike Clark (Dutch Mason, Downchild Blues Band, Albert Collins) and producer/guitarist Tim Williams (Three-Time Juno Award Nominee), whose stellar blues performances are infused with subtle hints of; Country, Rhythm & Blues and Soul.
This masterful 11 track blues album was recorded at Bette Jane Studios, delivers timeless arrangements with an honesty that is undeniable. The album boasts notable original compositions that include the title track “Work Week Blues,” “Won’t Be Around For Long” and a riveting cover version of Robert Cray’s classic song called “Phone Booth.”
